Today we had our 1st practice. Cuckmere Haven was breezy, & sunny. Pumping the SUPs up felt like a workout in its own right 🤣. After a wobbly start on our knees paddling into the wind & not getting far we were soon standing up & gaining momentum.
The scenery was fantastic, with swans & Canadian geese all around. The water was cold but the wetsuits kept us warm. On a break we sat on the boards with our feet dangling on the water, then laughed & agreed, we won’t be doing that in the Amazon – too many Piranha 😂🤣
This was Ant, Mick and Jeffs first session on the paddle board's.
