3rd Jan 2021 – Today Mick & Ant decided to head into the sea at Rottingdean.
The sea was cold but the sun was shining with just a light northerly breeze. The wind direction meant that the waters closest to the shore were sheltered by the cliffs, making the conditions calm.
They paddled to Saltdean, then back eastwards to the Marina, before returning to Rottingdean.
It was a great test of some different conditions, & they both noticed the effect of the wind, & the water surface on their speed and ability to move through the water.
